United Stations Radio Networks, Inc., (USRN) an independent leader in the creation and marketing of network radio programming, today announced that it is introducing a brand new four-hour Country Music program titled The Country’s HotList with Shawn Parr. The first broadcast of the new network property is this weekend, October 9-11. The Country’s HotList is the creation of producer/host Shawn Parr and his Eleven 11 Productions group in Los Angeles. United Stations EVP/Programming, Andy Denemark made this announcement today at the company's Headquarters in New York City.

The Country’s HotList with Shawn Parr is a brand new, music-intensive show that is designed to respond quickly to today’s fast-breaking world of music, entertainment news, celebrity gossip and life on the internet. The show will regularly recap lists of what’s hot – in movies, on iTunes, on YouTube and in all corners of entertainment – and the show will also utilize interactive technology to involve the audience in both the programming and the promotional and contesting components of the show. The playlist for The Country’s HotList will consist of carefully researched Country music hits that will be compatible with every mainstream Country station in America, and the show will also showcase superstar artist interviews.

In making the announcement, USRN’s Andy Denemark commented that “We’ve been working with Shawn Parr for a while to develop something very 21st Century for Country stations, and his team really nailed it with The Country’s HotList. The overall sound of this show is perfectly in sync with what today’s listeners want and expect, and we believe that the sky’s the limit for this new show.”

Shawn Parr added, “I couldn’t be more excited about where we’re going with this new program, and of course, I’ve been involved with the Dick Clark family of media properties for a long time, and to be in partnership with United Stations continues that tradition.”

Shawn Parr has been beloved in Country Music circles for many years and has also been the voice of Dick Clark Productions for the past 15 years. His voiceover for television and radio includes announcing for The American Music Awards, Golden Globes, Academy of Country Music Awards to name a few. Formerly at KZLA, Los Angeles, Shawn now anchors the Morning Drive show at Go Country 105 (KKGO-FM/Los Angeles). KKGO will also air Shawn’s new weekly program on Saturdays.

The Country’s HotList marks United Stations newest entry into Country programming. The network also produces and distributes The Road, 25 Years of Hits, Thunder Road, The American Christian Music Review and Comedy and Prep services for the Country Format. USRN currently handles dozens of format-specific programs and services for over 4500 commercial radio stations across the country.
