"Curious - Powering the Planet" to be screened at Caltech

Curious—Powering the Planet, a high-definition documentary, will be presented on Saturday, November 14 at 2 p.m. in Caltech’s Beckman Auditorium.

Spurred by the looming energy crisis, Caltech scientists are working to invent a new kind of fuel that uses the sun to power the planet. Shannon Boettcher, a postdoctoral scholar in the division of chemistry and chemical engineering at Caltech, will introduce the program and guide the post-screening discussion. This is a co-production of Thirteen/WNET New York and the California Institute of Technology; distributed by American Public Television.

Tickets to this performance are priced at $5.00. Tickets can be purchased at the Caltech Ticket Office, 332 South Michigan Avenue, Pasadena.
