Rock the Kasbah in L.A. Oct. 26 to benefit Virgin Unite

Sir Richard Branson and Eve Branson will once again Rock the Kasbah in Los Angeles on Monday, October 26 at the 3rd Annual fundraising gala in support of Virgin Unite, the non profit foundation of the Virgin Group, and the Eve Branson Foundation. The event will take place at the magnificent Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles. This unforgettable night will feature a delicious dinner, a live auction with exclusive experiences, dancing, and live performances by Grammy Award winner and Virgin Unite Ambassador Estelle and Gavin Rossdale. More celebrity guests will be announced shortly.

“My mother and I are thrilled that we are able to bring Rock the Kasbah back to Los Angeles this year,” said Sir Richard Branson. “This year’s event will be the best yet, with all proceeds benefitting the Eve Branson Foundation to help improve the lives of women and young girls in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and Virgin Unite to help young people who are facing difficult circumstances here in the US.”

This year’s Rock the Kasbah gala will feature a diverse array of auction items benefitting Virgin Unite and the Eve Branson Foundation. Bidders will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to bid on a chance to name one of Virgin America’s brand new Airbus A320 commercial aircraft. In addition, bidders will have the opportunity to bid on amazing vacation packages including a South African safari at Ulusaba, Sir Richard Branson’s Private Game Reserve; a magnificent getaway at Kasbah Tamadot in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains; a week on Sir Richard Branson’s idyllic private island, Necker, in the British Virgin Islands; a trip to Tokyo, Japan and a trip to Sydney, Australia. Other items up for auction include rare hand-carved Passman black coral jewelry and a framed “Marilyn Monroe, Hollywood 1961” photographic print, shot by Douglas Kirkland.
